Villa Mazis is a perfect basis for exploring the whole Corfu, thanks to its excellent location in the centre of the island, with an easy access. It is situated in the traditional village of Milia – Kynopiastes, just 9 km from the historical centre of Corfu Town and 7 km from the airport.
Kynopiastes is a picturesque village filled with a mixture of new houses and old mansions, dating back to the 17th century. The houses, painted in the traditional pastel colours, the narrow paved alleyways and the tiny hidden squares make Kinopiastes one of the most enchanting villages of the Corfiot countryside.There are a few cafes, small family run tavernas and an olive museum, housed in a traditional oil mill, all within 10 minutes of leisurely walk from the house. Walking through the narrow alleys where cars cannot pass you will feel like a local, far away from the bustle of the seaside resorts.
Almost everything you will need like a minimarket, bakery, tavernas, cafes, pharmacy etc. is within walking distance.
The connection with Corfu Town is provided with a city bus (Blue bus) No 5, running every hour from Corfu Town (weekdays) and the bus stop is 200 m from the property.
You will have at your disposal the entire house with the private, fenced garden. Free parking and wireless Internet are provided, as well. The villa benefits from air condition (cooling, heating), lcd TV, washing machine, iron & ironing board and fully equipped kitchen. Apart from the dining room, you can enjoy your home cooked meals alfresco in the garden.
